Povestea filmului este inspirata din romanul “The Long Walk: The True Story of a Trek to Freedom” scris de polonezul Slawomir Rawicz. Filmul prezinta drama unui grup de prizonieri de diferite nationalitati captivi in siberia care reusesc sa evadeze si sa ajunga inIndia. Nevoiti sa traverseze cu piciorul teritorii necunoscute si salbatice si sa infrunte vitregiile naturii, fostii prizonieri parcurg aproximativ 6.500 de kilometri in drumul lor spre libertate, marsaluind prin Mongolia, China si Tibet, prin desertul Gobi si prin Muntii Himalaya, cu scopul de a ajunge in India. In timpul calatoriei lor dramatice, in cursul careia unii dintre ei isi pierd viata si altii isi ratacesc credinta si speranta, Janusz, Valka Tomasz, Smith, Zoran si Voss o intalnesc pe adolescenta Irena si o iau sub aripa lor ocrotitoare pentru a o ajuta sa supravietuiasca.

Doi fraţi descoperă în pivniţa propriei locuinţe o misterioasă groapă ce începe curând să-i poarte prin bezna celor mai profunde şi ascunse temeri… Lucas si Dane se imprietenesc cu Julie, vecina lor, si ii arata si ei gaura misterioasa. In curand, in casa incep sa se intample lucruri misterioase. Lucas gaseste in camera lui un clovn pe care crede ca i l-a pus fratele lui cu intentia de a-l speria pentru ca acestuia ii era frica de clovni. Apoi cei doi vad mergand prin casa lor o fetita care coborara in pivnita si intra in acea gaura. Julie vede si ea fetita care se dovedeste a fi cea mai buna prietena a ei din copilarie. Cei trei isi dau seama ca acea gaura ascunde ceva teribil si inceraca cu orice pret sa afle ce se intampla. Ei merg la cel care a locuit inainte in casa pentru a afla adevarul iar batranul le spune ca nu trebuia sa deschida gaura pentru ca cele mai ascunse si profunde temeri ii va urmari. Summary: “The Hole” certainly boasts a scarier momentum than most family fare, Joe Dante racking up a credible roster of intense (yet kiddie friendly) sequences that disturb more than much of the recent torture porn nonsense. “The Hole” offers several individual scenes that are very effective and which deploy 3-D rather skilfully, a moment involving a blacked out restroom and the surprisingly intense finale are the obvious highlights. As an introduction to the joys of frightening cinema “The Hole” isn’t a bad little dish, children will likely respond well to its blend of spooky visuals and bloodless jump scares. More seasoned horror buffs (or even youngsters privileged enough to have enjoyed exposure to Dante’s earlier works) won’t be overly perturbed by what’s on show here, but for the uninitiated it’s an amply atmospheric and frantic example of satisfactorily unsettling filmmaking.

O frumoasa satira sociala care are ca baza adevaruri si pilde populare desprinse din povestirile lui Anton Pann (“cel istet ca un proverb”, cum il denumea Eminescu) in care se regasesc motive adanc ancorate in tumultul vietii secolului XXI.

Pacala (Denis Stefan), un tanar fara prea multe pretentii de la viata, este satul de hoinarit prin lume si manat de dorul de casa parinteasca se decide sa revina in patrie, de undeva “de afara” – un spatiu atemporal situat in afara granitelor Romaniei.

Tipologiile romanesti traditionale sunt fin satirizate de autorul Geo Saizescu aflat la plina maturitate creativa. Regasim astfel politicianul oportunist, intrepretat chiar de maestrul Geo Saizescu, trei dintre personajele satului romanesc: primarul, carciumarul si popa, interpretate cu genialitate de personalitati marcante ale scenei romanesti. Fiecare zana este nascuta cu un talent special. Zanele pot face florile sa imboboceasca, pot face licuricii sa straluceasca sau pot trasa modele minunate iarna, in gheata de pe geamuri. Tinker Bell considera ca talentul ei de a repara oale, ibrice sau tigai, nu este la fel de important sau special ca al altor zane, deoarece alte zane sunt trimise in lume, pe cand ea trebuie sa ramana in Pixie Hollow.
Dar cand Tink incearca sa schimbe ceea ce este, rezultatul este dezastruos. Incurajata de prietenii ei, Fawn, Iridessa, Rosetta si Silvermist, Tink invata ca abilitatile ei unice reprezinta cheia rezolvarii problemelor si descopera ca atunci cand ai incredere in fortele proprii se pot intampla lucruri magice.

Perseu (Sam Worthington) este fiul lui Zeus si al sotiei regelui Acrisius(Jason Flemyng). El este crescut de o familie de pescari . Hades (Ralph Fiennes), răzbunătorul zeu al Infernului ii omoara familia lui Perseu . El .nemaiavând nimic de pierdut, se oferă voluntar să conducă o misiune periculoasă pentru a-l înfrânge pe Hades înainte ca acesta să ia puterea din mâinile lui Zeus (Liam Neeson), împiedicând astfel venirea Iadului pe Pământ. Lupta pentru supremaţie îi aduce faţă în faţă pe oameni, regi şi zei, iar confruntarea dintre zei ameninţă să distrugă pământul.

Bazata pe povestea reala de viata a alpinistului nord-american Aron Ralston si pe cartea acestuia “Between a Rock and a Hard Place”, drama “127 Hours” relateaza sacrificiile greu de imaginat pe care a fost fortat sa le faca tanarul pentru a scapa cu viata dintr-o situatie-limita petrecuta in anul 2003. Dornic de adrenalina si de experiente cat mai palpitante si pasionat de catarari pe munte, Aron porneste intr-o expeditie periculoasa in Utah fara sa-si informeze familia sau prietenii despre intentia lui de a escalada peretele unui canion. Dupa ce parcurge cu bicicleta kilometri intregi printr-o zona desertica si se imprieteneste cu doua excursioniste pe care isi propune sa le impresioneze cu abilitatile lui de alpinist, Aron Ralston se prabuseste intr-o despicatura ingusta dintre peretii canionului, iar un bolovan urias ii imobilizeaza bratul drept. Timp de 5 zile lungi si epuizante, tanarul incearca fara succes sa isi elibereze mana de sub blocul de stanca, fiind constient de faptul ca nimeni nu stie unde se afla si nu il cauta. Intentionand sa petreaca o frumoasa vacanta impreuna, Tom si Kate isi iau cei 12 copii si pleaca intr-o statiune de pe malul lacului Winnetka, in Wisconsin. Summary: The Baker family begins to undergo many changes, beginning with Lorraine (Hilary Duff) and her desire to study in New York. Tom trains the kids for days, not realizing that they are miserable. Soon Sarah and Eliot Murtaugh (Taylor Lautner) go on a date where they are spied on by their fathers. Sarah is furious, proclaiming that she won’t compete for her father in the, “stupid cup!” In the end of the movie, the Bakers and the Murtaughs become friends when, during a canoe race to decide who wins, Nora goes into labor and the two families work together to get Nora to the hospital. Nora gives birth to a baby boy whom they name Tom in honor of her father. They said that they showed him, “there is no way to be a perfect parent, but there are a lot of ways to be a really good one.” Ending the movie on a good note, Tom, who soon becomes emotional in that scene, knows that he has to let his kids grow.
