Atunci cand cea mai populara si cea mai atragatoare fata din scoala pe nume Francesca Fachini ii cere sa faca o investigatie asupra furtului unor teste de admitere la colegiu din biroul directorului, jurnalistul de la ziarul liceului St. Donovan – Bobby Funke – scrie un articol in care il acuza de respectiva infractiune pe Paul Moore, nimeni altul decat fostul iubit al Francescai, starul echipei de baschet si presedintele consiliului elevilor. Articolul il transforma brusc pe Bobby Funke intr-o persoana respectata de catre colegi si de catre directorul Kirkpatrick, un veteran excentric si deziluzionat al Razboiului din Golful Persic. Dupa ce reprezentantii Universitatii Northwestern il inscriu pe Bobby Funke intr-un prestigios program de jurnalism si ii solicita sa prezinte informatii suplimentare bine verificate despre caz, tanarul incepe sa sape mai adanc si devine din ce in ce mai suspicios si mai nesigur ca Paul Moore este persoana aflata in spatele furtului. De secole două rase de roboţi – Autoboti si Decepticoni – se luptă având drept miză a războiului soarta Universului.
Atunci când câmpul de bataie ajunge să fie Pământul, elementul surpriză care poate decide soartă războiului se află în mâna lui Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBoeuf).
Un tânăr obişnuit, Sam (Shia LaBeouf) are grijile celor de vârsta lui, adică şcoală, prieteni, maşini şi fete. Fără să ştie că el este cel ce poate decide soarta rasei umane, Sam şi colega lui pe care ar vrea sa o transforme în iubita lui, Mikaela(Megan Fox), se trezesc în mijlocul confruntării dintre roboţi.
Soarta lumii întregi atârnă de un fir de aţă şi astfel Sam afla înţelesul dictonului familiei Witwicky: ‘victoria cere sacrificii’.

Filmul este o drama neinspirata din fapte reale despre cunoscutul “Boy A”, un copil care la varsta de 10 ani a savarsit o crima teribila asupra unui alt copil, petrecandu-si apoi cea mai mare parte a vietii prin inchisori si centre de reabilitare pentru minori.

Eliberat la varsta de 24 de ani, tanarul fara identitate se trezeste aruncat intr-o lume a adultilor pe care el nu o cunoaste si nu o poate intelege. Terry(Peter Mullan) observa latura pozitiva a sufletului lui “Boy A” si decide sa ii ofere sansa de a o lua de la capat in viata, cu un nou nume, o noua casa si o noua slujba. La locul de munca proaspat botezatul Jack Burridge(Andrew Garfield) relationeaza cu ceilalti semeni, imprietenindu-se cu colegul sau Chris si incepand o frumoasa idila cu Michelle. Dar anonimatul este deopotriva o binecuvantare si un blestem deoarece Jack trebuie sa tina ascuns montruosul lui secret fata de persoanele pe care le iubeste, ajungand la concluzia ca nu poate scapa niciodata de pacatele trecutului de vreme ce publicul, incitat de o campanie mediatica foarte puternica impotriva eliberarii lui Boy A”, este insetat de razbunare si nu considera ca tanarul a platit crima savarsita in copilarie prin cei 14 ani de temnita. Filmul in sine este de ajuns sa-ti provoace niste sentimente puternice.Subiectul este centrat pe efectele pe care le are abuzul fizic suferit in copilarie de cei doi protagonisti si cum fiecare face fata problemei in mod total diferit. Pe parcurs apar niste situatii insolite si/sau presarate cu putina violenta. Totusi, marele merit al acestui film este de a nu fi moralist.Pe langa faptul ca este printre putinele filme cu un impact puternic asupra mea(si nu numai a mea) , prezinta o poveste destul de “deranjanta” la privit , cu comportamente “deviante” , fara a sanctiona in vreun fel acesta iesire din normal.
Exista momente de contemplare in film care ma duc cu gandul la tipul din American Beauty si fascinatia sa pentru tot ce-l inconjura(a se vedea filmarea cu punga luata de vant care levita oscilant deasupra trotuarului).
Personajele par astfel concepute incat oricate lucruri ciudate li s-ar intampla, nu inspira mila (nu se intampla prea des, nu? )
De remarcat Joseph Gordon-Levitt ca actor , foarte convingator in rol. Sursa: Oana

Am asteptat destul de mult sa apara acest film si a meritat asteptarea. Nu este o capodopera a cinematografiei, dar este un film foarte bun cu o viziune pozitiva asupra vietii…il recomand in special persoanelor mai romantice sau care nu cauta perfectiunea intr-un film.
