Dupa ce si-au petrecut ultima noapte a anilor de liceu, impreuna, Emma si Dexter au devenit cei mai buni prieteni. Initial prietenia lor avea sa aiba rolul unei nopti de dragoste dar a luat alt curs. Anne Hathaway este o super actrita, mi-a placut foarte mult si prestatia ei din Love and Other Drugs , si as putea spune, chiar daca sunt baiat, ca e una din actritele mele preferate.

One day este un film perfect de vizonat cu iubita/iubitul dar in acelasi timp este un film perfect de duminica dupa-amiaza. Un film recomandat tinerilor

Desi are suficiente probleme incercand sa ascunda relatia amoroasa cu producatorul Adam Bennett, Becky se confrunta cu obstacole aparent insurmontabile atunci cand il angajeaza la emisiune pe Mike Pomeroy, un prezentator de stiri cu o cariera stralucita in spate, care a demisionat de la precedentul serviciu pentru ca era nemultumit de formatul programului pe care il modera. Intrucat “Daybreak” are ca subiecte principale moda, meteo sau barfele despre vedete, este lesne de inteles ca Mike Pomeroy refuza sa prezinte asemenea frivolitati, spre deosebire de co-prezentatoarea lui Colleen Peck, o fosta regina a frumusetii careia ii place formatul emisiunii. Pe masura ce Mike si Colleen se ironizeaza si se dueleaza in culise si in direct pe micul ecran, Becky Fuller trebuie sa gaseasca solutii pentru a-si salva matinalul, cariera, reputatia si idila cu Adam Bennett. Filmul se bazeaza pe romanul cu acelasi nume scris de Charles Baxter. Un grup de prieteni ce locuiesc la marginea orasului Oregon intra in contact cu o femeie pe nume Chloe, o persoana rebela, senzuala, ce reuseste sa le schimbe perceptia asupra vietii si in special a dragostei.

Astfel pe parcursul filmului ne sunt prezentate mai multe povesti si caractere, incepand cu Bradley, proprietarul unei cafenele, ce are obiceiul de a cauta dragostea in cele mai nepotrivite locuri, continuand cu Diana, un agent imobiliar ce este prins intr-o relatie cu un barbat casatorit si terminand cu un profesor local pe nume Harry al carui sotie face tot posibilul sa-l ajute sa treaca peste moartea cuiva drag.

În fiecare an, în Boston au loc peste 300 de jafuri bancare. Şi un singur cartier, Charlestown, a dat lumii mai mulţi spărgători de bănci şi hoţi de maşini decât oricare alt loc din America. Doug MacRay (interpretat de Ben Affleck) este unul dintre ei. Însă nu e “croit” din aceeaşi stofă ca ceilalţi, deoarece a avut o şansă să-şi schimbe viaţa, să n-o ia pe urmele tatălui său criminal. Cu toate acestea, Doug a ales să devină şeful unei bande de hoţi fără scrupule, a căror mândrie este de a fura fără să fie prinşi. Singura familie a lui Doug este formată din complicii săi în ale hoţiei, iar singurul om pe care îl poate considera aproape ca un frate este Jem (interpretat de Jeremy Renner), în ciuda temperamentului aprig şi comportamentului periculos al acestuia.

Situaţia se schimbă, însă, după ultima spargere, când Jem o ia ostatecă pe managera băncii, Claire Keesey (interpretată de Rebecca Hall). Când descoperă că aceasta locuieşte chiar în Charlestown, Jem e cuprins de nervozitate şi vrea neapărat să afle cât de multe ştie Claire despre autorii spargerii. Ştiind de ce e capabil Jem, Doug promite că se ocupă el şi o caută pe Claire, căreia nici nu-i trece prin minte că această întâlnire nu e deloc întâmplătoare şi că fermecătorul străin este unul dintre cei care o terorizase cu câteva zile înainte.

Relaţia cu Claire transformându-se într-o pasionată poveste de dragoste, Doug decide să-şi schimbe viaţa şi să plece din oraş. Dar acest lucru se dovedeşte a fi extrem de dificil, întrucât agenţii FBI – conduşi de Frawley (interpretat de Jon Hamm) – sunt pe urmele sale, iar Jem îi pune la îndoială loialitatea. Doug realizează că nu va fi uşor să scape şi că acţiunile sale o pot pune în pericol pe Claire. Prin urmare, el nu mai are de ales decât între două lucruri: să-şi trădeze prietenii sau s-o piardă pe femeia pe care o iubeşte.

Atunci cand Kim Miller decide ca fiica ei trebuie sa plece in Georgia pentru a relua legatura cu tatal instrainat, Ronnie nu este deloc incantata si manifesta raceala si ostilitate in prezenta lui Steve, singurul lucru pe care il au in comun cei doi fiind pasiunea pentru muzica.
