O satira la adresa filmelor cu supereroi, Megamind spune povestea unui personaj malefic care il omoara din greseala pe Metro Man, inamicul lui de moarte. Multumit initial de postul de conducator al lumii, Megamind se deprima dupa ce realizeaza ca viata fara un adversar de temut cu care sa se dueleze pe viata si pe moarte, nu are nici un farmec. Solutia lui Megamind este Titan, rezultatul unui experiment care da gres. Noul “rival” nu vrea sa fie deloc personaj pozitiv. El vrea sa ii ia locul lui megamind. Complet izolata de lume, dornica de aventura si simtindu-se singura, Rapunzel reuseste sa il prinda in capcana parului ei lung de peste 20 de metri pe tanarul Flynn Rider, care trecea intamplator pe langa turn. Plina de imaginatie, incapatanata si voluntara, printesa Rapunzel se foloseste de cositele ei blonde cu putere magica ca de niste tentacule uriase si evadeaza cu ajutorul lui Flynn Rider din turnul in care fusese tinuta captiva. Fiecare zana este nascuta cu un talent special. Zanele pot face florile sa imboboceasca, pot face licuricii sa straluceasca sau pot trasa modele minunate iarna, in gheata de pe geamuri. Tinker Bell considera ca talentul ei de a repara oale, ibrice sau tigai, nu este la fel de important sau special ca al altor zane, deoarece alte zane sunt trimise in lume, pe cand ea trebuie sa ramana in Pixie Hollow.
Dar cand Tink incearca sa schimbe ceea ce este, rezultatul este dezastruos. Incurajata de prietenii ei, Fawn, Iridessa, Rosetta si Silvermist, Tink invata ca abilitatile ei unice reprezinta cheia rezolvarii problemelor si descopera ca atunci cand ai incredere in fortele proprii se pot intampla lucruri magice.

Studiourile Disney şi Pixar redeschid cufărul cu jucării pentru o nouă aventură palpitantă a personajelor din cunoscutul film de animaţie Toy Story. De data aceasta Buzz, Woody şi întreaga gaşcă sunt nevoiţi să facă faţă unei probleme cu totul deosebite. Stăpânul lor, Andy pleacă la facultate, iar jucăriile se trezesc într-o creşă plină de bebeluşi şi copii mici care abia aşteaptă să pună mânuţele pe marfă nouă, pe care să o rupă, să o murdărească şi să o roadă după bunul plac.

Atât adulţii, cât şi copiii, se vor delecta cu o comedie inedită şi savuroasă bazată pe un scenariu scris de Michael Arndt, laureat al premiului Oscar pentru scenariul filmului “Little Miss Sunshine”. Regizorul filmului, Lee Unkrich, a făcut parte din echipele care au realizat binecunoscutele filme de animaţie ”Finding Nemo” (câştigător al unui premiu Oscar) şi ”Monsters Inc”.

În varianta originală, o întreagă pleiadă de vedete Hollywood dau glas personajelor din Toy Story 3, printre aceştia numărîndu-se Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz), Joan Cusack (Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl), Timothy Dalton, Jeff Garlin sau Whoopi Goldberg (Caracatiţa Stretch).

Primul lung-metraj din seria Toy Story a fost lansat în 1995, fiind de altfel şi primul film de desene animate realizat în întregime cu ajutorul calculatorului. Succesul peliculei a fost atât de mare încât s-a clasat pe primul loc în acel an din punct de vedere al încasărilor, cu 192 de milioane de dolari în SUA şi peste 362 de milioane de dolari pe tot mapamondul. Toy Story a fost nominalizat la trei premii Oscar și doua Globuri de Aur.

În 1999 a urmat Toy Story 2, primul film creat şi proiectat digital în întregime. Toy Story 2 a mai stabilit un record în anul lansării, fiind prima continuare a unui film animat care a depăşit încasările peliculei originale. Şi partea a doua a poveştii a fost nominalizată la Oscar şi Globul de Aur, câştigând Globul de Aur pentru cel mai bun film din categoria Comedie / Musical. Coloana sonoră a mai adus compozitorului Randy Newman şi un premiu Grammy la categoria cel mai bună piesă scrisă pentru un film.

Aventurile lui Buzz şi Woody, precum şi ale altor personaje îndragite, continuă acum în Toy Story 3. Filmul va rula în varianta subtitrată şi dublată atât în sălile de cinema 3D, cât şi la IMAX Cinema City Bucureşti. Sursa:cinemagia

Acest film a fost filmat original in format 2D, dar a fost facut in asa fel incat sa mai poata fi adaugata inca o camera. Dupa ce filmul a fost aratat la diferite festivaluri, distribuitorii au inceput sa fie interesati de acest proiect si a fost angajata o echipa mica care sa faca din acest proiect 2D, unul 3D. Battle for Terra a castigat premiul Grand Pirze pentre cea mai buna animatie in anul 2008 la Festivalul International De Animatie Ottawa. Battle for Terra, cunoscut si sub numele de Terra inainte de a-l schimba pentru lansarea din 2009 in Statele Unite, este o animatie sci-fi, bazata pe un scurt metraj, despre o planeta extraterestra pasnica, care este amenintata cu disparitia. Aceasta animatie este o calatorie fantastica catre lumi la care noi doar putem visa. In vreme ce veveritele cantatoare se acomodeaza cu noul stil de viata in mijlocul elevilor de la scoala, Ian Hawke este eliberat din inchisoare si colinda prin toata lumea in incercarea de a descoperi animale talentate, care sa poata canta si dansa. In Australia, Ian Hawke intalneste niste femele de veverita inzestrate din punct de vedere muzical, pe care intentioneaza sa le transforme in vedete pentru a se razbuna astfel pe Alvin, Simon si Theodore. Summary:

During the Chipmunks’ benefit concert in Paris, France, David Seville (Jason Lee) is injured. Dave must recuperate and is forced to leave his aunt to look after the Chipmunks. Arrangements are also made for them to go to school. After another accident, the Chipmunks are left in the care of Toby (Zachary Levi), Dave’s aunt’s grandson.

Meanwhile, Ian Hawke (David Cross) lives in the basement of JETT Records. Three singing female chipmunks, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor, also known as the Chipettes, emerge and Ian hires them as plot to get back at the Chipmunks and revive his career.

While at school, the Chipmunks are bullied by jocks and visit the principal’s office. They discover that the principal is a huge fan and wants them to help raise money for the music program by participating in a contest. Meanwhile, when Ian receives his daily newspaper, he is shocked to find the Chipmunks on the front page. After he reads the story, he quickly sends the Chipettes to school.

When the Chipmunks meet the Chipettes, they fall for their counterparts, but are soon forced to have a rivalry after discovering that they are with Ian. The Chipmunks and the Chipettes compete against each other in the Battle of the Bands contest. At the concert, the Chipettes sing and Alvin fails to show for the Chipmunks – who then forfeit. When Alvin finally shows, he finds the auditorium empty and is ignored by his brothers at home.

Soon, the Chipettes are hired. Unfortunately, the concert is on the same night as the school contest, so Ian decides to blow off the battle and make the Chipettes perform at the new concert, opening for Britney Spears. Since Ian wants more focus on Brittany he demands Brittany perform on stage alone while Jeanette and Eleanor sing back up. When Brittany refuses to sing without her sisters, Ian threatens to send them all to a barbecue restaurant for their insubordination.

At the school, Alvin gets a phone call from Brittany saying that Ian has locked her and her sisters in a cage, so Alvin races off to rescue them while Simon tells Jeanette how to open the cage on the phone, the Chipettes manage to escape with Alvin, and Brittany apologizes to Alvin for not listening to him about Ian. Alvin and the Chipettes arrive just in time to perform at the contest and they win. Meanwhile, Ian gets into more trouble at the concert he set up for the girls when he attempts to imitate them.
