Pilotul e un tip enigmatic cu o viaţă dublă. Shannon (Bryan Cranston) este agentul Pilotului atât pe timpul zilei, cât și pe timpul nopții. Ziua Pilotul concurează, iar noaptea participă la jafuri. Ca orice mafiot de talie mică, Shannon are un plan pentru Pilot: construcția unei mașini cu care acesta să poată concura pe un circuit profesionist.

Aparent singuratic, Pilotul se îndrăgostește de vecina lui Irene (Carey Mulligan), o mamă vulnerabilă, târâtă într-o lume a infractorilor odată cu întoarcerea soțului ei din închisoare, Standard (Oscar Isaac). Când un jaf nu decurge conform planului, Pilotul ajunge să fugă, însă devine responsabil pentru Irenen și copilul ei.

Acum, gangsterii (Albert Brooks și Ron Perlman) nu-l mai urmăresc doar pe el, ci sunt pe urma lui Irene și a fiului ei, moment în care pilotul este forțat să schimbe viteza și să intre pe contrasens. Instinctul pilotului îl oprește din goana nebună după răzbunare și se temperează gândindu-se că trebuie să îi proteje pe Irene și pe fiul acesteia. Toata actiunea se petree in jurul anilor ’70 si este concentrata asupra povestii irlandezului, inspirat din fapte reale, Danny Green mai apare si in cartea lui Rick Porrello. Kill the Irishman nu este un film foarte promovat, insa pot spune ca este unul din cele mai bune lansate anul acesta. Vizionare placuta !

Filmul prezinta drama unui grup de prizonieri de diferite nationalitati captivi in siberia care reusesc sa evadeze si sa ajunga inIndia. Nevoiti sa traverseze cu piciorul teritorii necunoscute si salbatice si sa infrunte vitregiile naturii, fostii prizonieri parcurg aproximativ 6.500 de kilometri in drumul lor spre libertate, marsaluind prin Mongolia, China si Tibet, prin desertul Gobi si prin Muntii Himalaya, cu scopul de a ajunge in India. In timpul calatoriei lor dramatice, in cursul careia unii dintre ei isi pierd viata si altii isi ratacesc credinta si speranta, Janusz, Valka Tomasz, Smith, Zoran si Voss o intalnesc pe adolescenta Irena si o iau sub aripa lor ocrotitoare pentru a o ajuta sa supravietuiasca.

Fiind intr-o lipsa totala de inspiratie ajunge in impas si intalnindu-se cu fostul sau cumnat care este dealer de droguri, acesta ii propune sa incerce o noua pastila ce inca nu a iesit pe piata. Eddie, intr-o stare totala de demoralizare, incearca noul drog, drog ce il poarta pe laturi ale vietii neimaginabile pana atunci. E un film lansat anul acesta ce ii are ca protagonisti principali pe Bradley Cooper si Robert de Niro

Beth si Cameron proaspat casatoriti s-au gandit sa se indrepte spre casa mamei lui Beth unde vor sa sarbatoreasca Craciunul in ciuda faptului ca Beth este insarcinata si nu mai era mult timp pana sa aduca pe lume un copil. Afara fiind noapte si Beth simtind durerile facerii cei doi s-au hotarat sa opreasca intr-un mic oras unde sa innopteze la un spital. In timp ce Cameron lipseste putin timp din camera , Beht logodnica lui dispare fara urma. Incercand sa scape de la ferma veche unde se trezise Beth intalneste alte patru femei in aceeasi stare ca ea, si se decid toate sa isi caut copiii.

Summary: On Christmas Eve 1979, Cameron and his pregnant fiancée Beth are traveling through the Outback of Australia to spend Christmas with Beth’s parents.
