Shutter Island (2010)
Teddy Daniel (Leonardo DiCaprio) si Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) sunt doi politisti trimisi sa prinda o pacienta cu boli mentale scapata din sanatoriu. Ei ajung pe o insula izolata (si ciudata) de pe langa Massachusetts, unde descopera un plan periculos bazat pe minciuna si inselatorii. De asemenea, cei doi politisti au de a face cu fortele naturii si trebuie sa gestioneze o revolta din cadrul sanatoriului. Incercarile celor doi de a afla adevarul sunt barate de mai multe ori de doctorul John Cawley(Ben Kingsley), directorul ospiciului. Summary: It’s 1954, and up-and-coming U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels(Leonardo DiCaprio) is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Boston’s Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital. He’s been pushing for an assignment on the island for personal reasons, but before long he wonders whether he hasn’t been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister. Teddy’s shrewd investigating skills soon provide a promising lead, but the hospital refuses him access to records he suspects would break the case wide open.
