“Into the Wild ” este o drama bazata pe romanul omonim din 1996 scris de Jon Krakauer despre viata si moartea lui Christopher McCandless. Dupa ce a absolvit Universitatea Emory in 1992, studentul si atletul de performanta Christopher McCandless ( Emile Hirsch) isi abandoneaza bunurile,isi doneaza toti cei 24,000 de dolari in scopuri caritabile si pleaca intr-o drumetie in Alaska pentru a trai in salbaticie.
