Taken (2008) Teroare in Paris
“Taken” este un thriller plin de actiune si suspans, care evidentiaza probleme grave ale societatii moderne precum traficul de carne vie si coruptia existenta in politica si in interiorul politiei si al serviciilor secrete. Bryan Mills este un fost agent CIA care s-a mutat la Los Angeles pentru a fi in apropierea rasfatatei lui fiice in varsta de 17 ani pe nume Kim, care locuieste acum impreuna cu mama ei Lenore si cu noul sot al acesteia, bogatul om de afaceri Stuart. La insistentele fostei sotii, Bryan Mills accepta ca Kim sa plece intr-o vacanta de relaxare la Paris, impreuna cu cea mai buna prietena a ei – Amanda. Numai ca in Europa cele doua tinere cad prada unei retele albaneze de traficanti de carne vie, care planifica sa le drogheze si sa le vanda unor arabi ca prostituate de lux, iar tatal lui Kim are la dispozitie numai 96 de ore pentru a le salva de la acest deznodamant tragic, apeland la toate abilitatile sale de fost angajat al CIA si bazandu-se pe sprijinul unui translator albanez si al unui fost membru al Serviciilor Secrete franceze pe nume Jean Claude. Intr-o cursa contra-cronometru, Bryan Mills trebuie sa faca tot ceea ce ii sta in putinta pentru a dejuca planurile periculosilor traficanti, facandu-si dreptate de unul singur.
Summary: The seventeen year-old Kim is the pride and joy of her father, the retired agent Bryan Mills that left the secret service to stay near Kim in California. Kim lives with her mother Lenore and her wealthy stepfather Stuart; she convinces the reluctant Bryan to sign an authorization to travel to Paris with her friend Amanda. When they arrive, they share a cab with the stranger Peter and Amanda tells to him that they are alone in Paris. When Bryan succeeds in contacting his daughter, she tells that criminals have just break in the spot and they are kidnapped by an Albanese gang of human trafficking. Bryan promises in the phone to kill the kidnapper of his daughter and immediately travels to Paris to find Kim and chase the criminals.
