Un film excelent, care l-am vazut de mai multe ori si nu ratez ocazia sa-l vad de cate ori pot, un film cu o actiune care face sa-ti creasca adrenalina, o distributie super, Keanu si Bullock, fac un cuplu excelent. Imi aduc aminte cand l-am vazut prima data am chiulit de la ora de chimie toata clasa si ne-am scuzat de profesor ca am fost la inmormntarea unei mame a unei colege, si pe bune ne-a crezut si nu am luat absente, dar s-a meritat sa vedem filmul. pacat ca s-a continuat cu partea a doua care nu a fost asa de reusita. Un film care se merita vazut.
Summary: Jack Traven is a young S.W.A.T cop in the Los Angeles police department. One morning Jack witnesses a bus explode and Jack receives a phone call from Howard Payne, a retired Atlanta bomb squad explosives expert gone bad, Payne has wired a passenger bus to explode, where if the bus speeds at 50 miles per hour the bomb is armed, if the bus slows down and drops below 50 miles per hour the bus will explode. Payne demands $3-millions dollars and Jack or any of the passengers tries to get off the bus, he will detonate the bomb. Managing to get on the bus, Jack with help of one of the passengers, Annie who is driving the bus when the driver is injured, tries to keep the passengers alive and guide the bus through the traffic, and keep the bus speeding at 50 miles per hour, as the S.W.A.T team and Jack’s partner, explosives expert Harry Temple set to discover Payne’s location and find a way to disarm the bomb before the bomb explodes when the bus runs out of gas.

Speed 2 – Cruise Control
Annie Porter este incantata atunci cand prietenul ei Alex ii prezinta doua bilete pentru o vacanta in Bahamas la bordul unui vapor. Calatoria este o oferta pentru impacare din partea lui Alex, pentru ca nu ii spusese ca este politist. John Geiger, cel care a creat sistemul computerizat al navei, si-a propus sa preia controlul vaporului si sa fure diamantele care se afla la bord. Astfel, Alex si Annie incearca sa-l opreasca, dar nava se ciocneste cu putere de un port din Caraibe.
Summary: Annie Porter is thrilled when her boyfriend Alex Shaw presents her with two tickets for a cruise to the Bahamas on a Norwegian luxury liner. The trip is a peace offering presented because Annie has just learned that Alex is a police officer who’s been lying to her about his choice of profession. Alex lied because Annie didn’t want to date any more cops after what happened with the bus in Los Angeles. The cruise ship’s passengers include members of a diamond dealers’ association, who have filled the ship’s vault with valuable diamonds. Little do they know that passenger John Geiger, the designer of the ship’s computer system, has planned to take over the ship, steal the diamonds, and set the ship on a collision course with an oil tanker anchored at the island of St. Martin. Geiger was fired and cast aside by the computer company he worked for, and he wants revenge. Now it’s up to Alex to stop him
