Loaded (2008)
În urmă cu un număr de ani, Tristan Price a renunţat la facultate, după ce, în timpul unei petreceri organizată de el, prietena sa murise în urma unei supradoze de droguri. Vreme de cîţiva ani, Tristan stă retras din societate, în casa bogaţilor săi părinţi, marcat fiind de tragedie. Încet-încet, lucrurile se aşează şi, ajuns la 25 de ani, Tristan este logodit şi e pe cale de a termina facultatea. Dar trecutul nu lasă să treacă atît de uşor sub imperiul tăcerii amintirile, dimpotrivă, are obiceiul de a le răscoli şi a ni le arunca în faţă. Viaţa sa de băiat cuminte se schimbă odată cu intrarea într-un club de strip-tease, unde întîlneşte un fost coleg, Sebastian Cole.
Din petrecere în petrecere, dintr-un exces în altul, Tristan se trezeşte tot mai departe de familia sa, fiind legat tot mai strîns de Cole, în realitate un traficant de droguri, care, sub masca prieteniei, îşi plănuieşte fiecare mişcare. Sedus de Cole, Tristan se dedă unei vieţi pe care o vede ca fiind aventuroasă, plină de maşini sport, de femei frumoase, de alcool şi droguri la discreţie. Părăsit de logodnică, renegat de tatăl său şi trădat de Cole, Tristan va trebui să îşi înfrunte trecutul şi pe traficant, în încercarea de a se salva şi de a pune punct unei nebunii prea lungi.
Summary: A privileged man with a profitable job, a beautiful girlfriend, and a loving family becomes hopelessly entangled with a vengeful drug dealer who assumes the role of his best friend before revealing his diabolical true colors. Tristan Price (Jesse Metcalfe) has a bright future, but when the shade begins to eclipse the sun, things turn bad more quickly than he could have ever anticipated. It seems that sometimes the most stable of folks are also the ones who crave adventure most, and Jesse is a prime example of that penchant. When Jesse meets up with charismatic cocaine dealer Sebastian Cole (Corey Large), the allure of fast cars, fast women, and automatic weapons find the thrill-seeking everyman suddenly drawn into a dangerous world of sex, drugs, and violence. But Jesse’s new best friend is also his new worst enemy, and if he has any hope of pulling out of his current tailspin and salvaging relationship with his faithful girlfriend (Monica Keena) he will have to confront the man that could take it all away with the lightening flash of a finger on the trigger.
