Die Hard 1 (1988)

Politistul John McClane din New York pleaca la Los Angeles ca sa petreaca sarbatorile de iarna cu familia. Dupa un zbor lung, merge la cladirea Corporatiei Nakatomi pentru a participa la petrecerea de Craciun alaturi de sotia sa. Dupa ce intra merge sa se improspateze putin si sa se pregateasca pentru petrecere. Insa cladirea este preluata de un grup de teroristi care sechestreaza toti angajatii companiei si vor sa scoata cei 600 de mil. de $ din seifurile companiei. John este singurul “uitat”, asa ca el este cel care poate sa incerce sa le dea peste cap planurile teroristilor, care sunt pregatiti pentru trupele FBI, dar nu se astepta la surpriza John McClane.

Summary:  New York cop John McClane flies to Los Angeles on Christmas eve to spend the holidays with his family. He arrives at the Nakatomi corp. building for his wife’s office party. International terrorists take over the building and hold every one as hostage to steel $600 million of bonds from the vaults of the building. Now its up to McCLane to face the terrorists and save his wife and the other hostages

John McClane, un politist din Los Angeles, isi asteapta sotia pe aeroportul din Washington. Tot in aceeasi seara este planificat sa aterizeze un avion din America de Sud care-l aduce in arest pe un traficant de droguri. Dar niste acoliti ai acestuia reusesc sa preia controlul asupra sistemului radar al aeroportului, pentru a-i aranja scaparea. Ce nu stiu ei este ca vor avea un obstacol important in calea atingerii scopurilor: John McClane

Summary:  Once again, New York cop John McClane is in the wrong place at the wrong time – this time he’s waiting for his wife’s plane to arrive at Washington’s Dulles Airport when he uncovers a plot to sabotage the airport’s landing system. The criminals wish to free a drug baron being extradited to America for trial by holding the airport to ransom until they all safely escape on another plane. However, if they’d known that Holly McClane was on a flight home to the very airport they were hijacking, they would have picked another day.

Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance (1995) – Greu de Ucis 3

A treia parte a seriei “Die Hard” il are in centrul actiunii pe acelasi detectiv newyorkez John McClane. De aceasta data, un barbat care-si spune Simon, fratele teroristului german aruncat de pe cladire de politist, instaureaza un regat al terorii pe strazile din New York, amenintand ca detoneaza bombe in diferite locatii din oras daca detectivul John McClane nu coopereaza cu el intr-un joc de-a “Simon spune”. John are acum o atitudine de om mahmur si nu e prea multumit de jocul care i se impune, mai ales ca nu prea are chef de jocuri. Dar se vede nevoit sa gaseasca bombele prin oras pe baza indiciilor furnizate de Simon, inainte ca bombele sa explodeze.

Summary:  John McClane is now almost a full-blown alcoholic and is suspended from the NYPD. But when a bomb goes off in the Bonwit Teller Department Store the police go insane trying to figure out what’s going on. Soon, a man named Simon calls and asks for McClane. Simon tells Inspector Walter Cobb that McClane is going to play a game called “Simon Says”. He says that McClane is going to do the tasks he assigns him. If not, he’ll blow off another bomb. With the help of a Harlem electrician, John McClane must race all over New York trying to figure out the frustrating puzzles that the crafty terrorist gives him. But when a bomb goes off in a subway station right by the Federal Reserve (the biggest gold storage in the world) things start to get heated up

Die Hard 4: Live Free or Die Hard (2007) – Greu de Ucis 4

Die Hard 4 un film reusit ce reuseste sa fie un excelent film de actiune in adevaratul sens al cuvantului, personajul John Mc Clane,chiar daca acum nu mai are par,nu si-a pierdut savoarea.Regizorul reuseste sa realizeze ceea ce-i trebuie acestui tip de film:mentine ritmul ridicat,nu lasa spectatorul sa caste. Un film excelent ce merita vazut.

Summary:  When someone hacks into the computers at the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division; the Director decides to round up all the hackers who could have done this. When he’s told that because it’s the 4th of July most of their agents are not around so they might have trouble getting people to get the hackers. So he instructs them to get local PD’S to take care of it. And one of the cops they ask is John McClane who is tasked with bringing a hacker named Farrell to the FBI. But as soon as he gets there someone starts shooting at them. McClane manages to get them out but they’re still being pursued. And it’s just when McClane arrives in Washington that the whole system breaks down and chaos ensues
