Cry of the Owl (2009)
Robert Forrester este proiectant la compania Levigne Aeronautics, se afla in proces de divort cu sotia lui Nickie Grace si traverseaza o perioada de depresie. Existenta lui sumbra este inveselita numai de tanara Jenny, o necunoscuta pe care o urmareste in fiecare seara in timp ce isi desfasoara activitatile cotidiene, ascuns in spatele unui copac din apropierea casei ei. Atunci cand Jenny se desparte de iubitul sau Greg Wyncoop si dezvolta o pasiune pentru strainul ciudat care o pandeste din umbra, Robert Forrester este pus in dificultate intrucat nu doreste o relatie amoroasa serioasa cu aceasta fata romantica si fragila emotional.
Gelozia morbida a lui Greg, firea exaltata a lui Jenny, planul diabolic de razbunare pe care il perfecteaza fosta lui sotie Nickie si neincrederea si ostilitatea cu care il trateaza pe Robert noii lui vecini din oras au consecinte tragice, culminand cu o serie de batai violente, o sinucidere, doua tentative de omor si trei crime.
Summary: A troubled young man, Robert, leaves the big city and his ex-wife for the tranquility of a small town. He finds respite from his problems by secretly watching the normal domestic life of a woman he doesnât know through her kitchen window. But when Jenny catches Robert in the act she doesnât call the police. Instead she starts an affair with him, which has dire consequences when her boyfriend Greg finds out. Immediately suspicious of Robert, Greg makes it his mission to destroy him. But when a fight leaves Greg unconscious and missing, Robert discovers he is the number one suspect in a murder case that is slowly beginning to look like the ultimate set-up.
